Q
How do I add a driver?
A

Go to the ‘My Drivers’ page and click the ‘Create New User’ button. Enter their name (first name), surname and email address and choose their role (company admin or driver). Then click the ‘Invite User’ button and they will receive an email from us inviting them to use the system. The first time they do this they will be able to create a password.

Q
One of my drivers has forgotten their login details, what can I do?
A

Go to the ‘My Drivers’ page and click on the driver’s name. This will display the driver’s details and you will be able to click on the ‘Resend Invitation’ button. This will email them a link to login to the system. If they have forgotten their password, they will be able to reset it.

Q
How do I check my drivers’ learning progress?
A

Firstly, click ‘My Drivers’ to display the training grid. This shows your drivers listed down the left and the Toolbox Talks across the top. Under each Toolbox Talk’s small thumbnail picture, you will see icons telling you how each driver is getting on with that Toolbox Talk (TBT).

  • Green smiley face – driver has passed the TBT

  • Amber neutral face – the driver is part way though the TBT

  • Red unhappy face – the driver has failed the TBT

  • Blue arrow – the TBT is available to them

  • Grey circle – the TBT is not yet released

If you hover an icon with your mouse further details will be displayed, such as when the driver passed the TBT.

Q
How do I print certificates for my drivers?
A

On your ‘My Drivers’ page there is a green smiley face for each Toolbox Talk successfully completed by your drivers. If you click on the green smiley face their certificate will be downloaded as a PDF, which you can then view and print.

Q
How can I use the system as evidence of our drivers’ PDP training to meet the requirements of section D4 of a FORS audit?
A

At the FORS audit we recommend that you let the auditor see the admin functionality of the PDP training. They will then be able to do their batch testing directly on the ‘My Drivers’ page. For each driver they will be able to see month by progress with different coloured faces indicating a driver’s status for each Toolbox Talk. ‘Blue’ means ‘ready to start’, ‘Green’ means ‘successfully completed’, ‘Amber’ means ‘partially completed’, ‘Red’ means the driver has ‘failed the multi-choice test’ and is awaiting a retake. Dates on which tests have been passed / failed can be seen by hovering the mouse over the coloured faces. This information can also be exported in spreadsheet format by clicking the “Export driver data” button. You must also complete the FORS mandatory training requirement found in appendix 1 an 2 of the FORS Standard.

Q
How do I remove a driver?
A

Before removing a driver we would always recommend downloading the training spreadsheet first. Go to the ‘My Drivers’ page and click on the driver’s name. This will display the driver’s details and you will be able to click on the ‘Delete User’ button. You will be asked to confirm before the driver’s details and their training record are deleted. Once you do this, we will not be able to retrieve their information.
